About me
Brandy Nisbet-Wilcox is an interdisciplinary professional who believes that good science is a key component to sound policy and decision making. As such, she has spent the last decade pursuing diverse opportunities across the western U.S. from boots on the ground fuels reduction and reforestation work in northern California to applied remote sensing projects in Colorado, Arizona, and Idaho with the NASA DEVELOP Program, to modeling aspen tree distribution change in southeast Idaho during her master’s research. She received her B.S. in Earth Sciences from the University of California, San Diego and most recently completed her Masters in Public Administration with a focus in environmental administration from Idaho State University. Brandy’s professional interests fall at the intersection of technical geospatial research and practical decision-making.
